These acorns were hand cast from a real acorn foraged from beneath an Oak tree in Utah. Completely sterling silver, they're sturdy yet delicate -- a perfect symbol of something that grows. They're submerged in patina then buffed to bring out the detail + ruggedness. The necklace weighs about an ounce.

Three acorns available, one on each chain:

-Box chain, 16-18 inches (adjustable)

-Beaded chain, 18 inches (not adjustable)

-Rolo chain, 16-18 inches (adjustable)

Sand casting, the method used for this piece, is a beautiful, imperfect, and time intensive process that allows for differences in each cast--a mold can be used only once, so each acorn is singular in form, and rare in expression.

    All my jewelry is handmade. This means that no two pieces are alike, and they will have natural imperfections that arise from the process of creating. My craftsmanship embraces this aspect of slow + handmade work.

  • Shipping Information

    Orders will be shipped out within 2-5 business days. Transit time will depend on shipment method chosen, but will generally range from 5-7 days. Standard shipping, USPS Ground Advantage, is $4.90.

    As with all handmade jewelry, additional care should be taken when wearing. I strive to create jewelry that withstands the test of time and adventure, but to prolong the life of the piece it is best to remove before showering, exercising, or rugged exploration.
