The Bearheart pendant was made by hand carving the bear in wax and casting in solid sterling silver. It's sturdy yet delicate -- the patterns meant to symbolize nature's heart, and all living things. This one sits centered on an oval long & short chain that is adjustable from 15 - 18 inches, and is reversible. It was submerged in patina to bring out the detail + ruggedness. The ECS maker's mark is stamped on a tag at the back of the clasp, and the necklace weighs about an ounce.
Sand casting, the method used for this piece, is a beautiful, imperfect, and time intensive process that allows for differences in each cast--a mold can be used only once, so each cast is singular in form, and rare in expression.

Shipping Information
Orders will be shipped out within 2-5 business days. Transit time will depend on shipment method chosen, but will generally range from 5-7 days. Standard shipping, USPS Ground Advantage, is $4.90.

Jewelry Care
As with all handmade jewelry, additional care should be taken when wearing. I strive to create jewelry that withstands the test of time and adventure, but to prolong the life of the piece it is best to remove before showering, exercising, or rugged exploration.
