The shape for these earrings was cut from the silhouette of an oak leaf foraged near my home. They're made with sterling silver and beautifully patterned Botswana Agate stones, with the backside of the stone cut out to view it from both sides and let in the light. Dipped in patina and buffed for a matte finish. Measuring just over 2 inches from the top of the ear wire.
All my jewelry is handmade. This means that no two pieces are alike, and they will have natural imperfections that arise from the process of creating. My craftsmanship embraces this aspect of slow + handmade work.

As with all handmade jewelry, additional care should be taken when wearing. I strive to create jewelry that withstands the test of time and adventure, but to prolong the life of the piece it is best to remove before showering, exercising, or rugged exploration.
